Does the AirSense 11 automatically adjust pressure?
Yes - if you have the AirSense 11 AutoSet model. AutoSet is designed to adjust pressure automatically as your needs change (including breath-by-breath adjustments).
Should I upgrade to a heated hose for the AirSense 11?
A heated hose (ResMed ClimateLineAir 11) is a good upgrade if you:
Wake up with dry nose/throat
Get condensation (“rainout”) in the tube/mask (common in cooler rooms)
Want more consistent humidity + temperature for comfort
It’s designed to work with AirSense 11 and helps deliver optimal humidity while helping reduce rainout.
Is the AirSense 11 compatible with all CPAP masks?
In most cases, yes. The AirSense 11 works with any CPAP mask that uses the standard 22mm connection, regardless of brand.
Is the AirSense 11 Filter the same as Airsense 10?
No. AirSense 11 filters are a different design and are not interchangeable with AirSense 10 filters.
How to change your AirSense 11 Filter?
How to change your AirSense 11 filter
Open the air filter cover (at the rear/side filter compartment).
Remove the old filter.
Place a new filter onto the filter cover and close the cover.
ResMed notes the filter is not washable or reusable, and the user guide says to check regularly and replace at least every 6 months (more often if dusty/dirty).
